- Bay Leaves- 2 Pics

- Tomato(Chopped)- 1 Medium Size
- Ginger Paste- 1/2 Teaspoon
- Garlic paste- 1/2 Teaspoon
- Turmeric Powder- 1 Teaspoon
- Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder- 1 Teaspoon
- Coriander Powder- 1/2 Teaspoon
- Salt- As required
- Water- 1 Cup
- Garam Masala Powder- 1/2 Teaspoon
- Green Coriander Leaves(Finely Chopped)
Step-By-Step Cooking Process of Lauki Ki Sabji
- Firstly, take a non-stick kadhai and keep them above the stove over medium heat.
- Pour 2 tablespoons of oil and heat up them, after some time, add cumin seed, bay leaves, and cinnamon. fry them until they become aromatic.
- Now add chopped onion, Ginger, and Garlic paste. Sauté them until they become golden brown.
- Add Turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt. Keep the flame on a low level.
- Saute the masala until it turns aromatic.
- Add chopped tomatoes and saute them until it turns soft and mushy.
- Now add Lauki(cutted into small pieces) and saute them for 5 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of water and mix them well.
- Cover the kadhai and boil them for 20 minutes on medium flame (until Lauki pieces are well cooked).
- Check the gravy and add more water or ingredients if required.
- Now put some garam masala and mix them well.
- Add kasuri methi and fresh green coriander leaves into the gravy.
